A former 17th century hunting lodge set in the heart of the idyllic Royal Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.


Overlooking the romantic wilderness of the surrounding Forest of Dean, The Speech House Hotel offers comfortably appointed bedrooms, several with four-poster beds. The Hotel has 37 bedrooms which offer modern facilities whilst retaining their original charm.
We offer a selection of room types, ranging from large executive 4 posters to family rooms and smaller cottage rooms. All are priced to suit your budget. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

We offer bed and breakfast in a delightful boutique hotel style setting in a beautiful late Victorian villa combining original features with contemporary decor, sumptuous bedding and stylish en-suites. The Falcon House is set in 2.5 acres of the beautiful Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Malvern Hills, Forest of Dean, Symonds Yat, The Black Mountains and the Welsh Borders are all within easy reach as are the market towns of Ross on Wye, Ledbury and the historic City of Hereford. For walkers, the house is just a mile from the Wye Valley walk at Brockhampton.
 As a family-run business open all year round, our aim is to offer a friendly welcome and a relaxing environment for our guests. The 6 guest rooms have a separate entrance at the rear of the property where there is ample off-road parking. There are 2 ground floor and 4 first floor rooms (double, twin and family), all with en-suite shower rooms, TV and Wi-Fi.
We offer a traditional home-cooked breakfast with eggs from our free-range hens and sausages from our neighbour’s free range pigs. We are happy to cater for special diets by arrangement .
We are able to provide evening meals for walkers, packed lunches and luggage transport by pre-arrangement only.
There are many good local places to eat offering a range of menus and tariffs.

AA Four Star Bed and Breakfast in the delightful Georgian Farmhouse. The 3 rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with en-suite facilities and have lovely views. One has a superking four poster, one a kingsize double and one two single beds. Private Guests Lounge with a range of books, Leaflets and maps on the area. Enjoy a hearty breakfast made from local produce to set uou up for a day's walking or sightseeing. Packed lunches available. Rates from £38 pppn with discount for stays of 3 nights or more.

AA Four Star Self Catering in the Granary and Garden Cottage, both fully equipped and decorated to a high standard with many little extras to make your stay more comforatble and enjoyable. Both propertirs sleep 2 and have full CH, electricity and linen included in the price. Garden to sit and relax in, farm wildlife walk on the banks of the River Wye. Prices from £250 per week, short breaks subject to availability.

A most attractive house of great charm in the beautiful village of Grosmont, set high above the Monnow valley with fantastic views in every direction.
