The Old House is Grade II listed and situated in a charming village which nestles on the edge of the Quantock Hills, a favoured destination for anyone seeking a break in glorious rural surroundings with walking and other outdoor activities.
The self-catering cottages comprise: Stable Cottage - a rose covered, highly characterful stable conversion sleeping 4; Garden Wing - a stunning Quantocks ground floor cottage with a double bedroom overlooking the delightful walled garden and The House Keeper's Quarters - offering great historical charm in the top story of The Old House, sleeping 4. Guests are welcome to enjoy the walled garden. Barbecues are available. Prices from £220 per week. Seasonal short breaks, small dogs welcome.
Bed and Breakfast - for those who enjoy being waited upon, you may prefer our Coleridge Suite. Elegantly decorated with gracious furnishings it has delighted all our guests and is the very room that Samuel Coleridge stayed in during the latter years of his visits to Nether Stowey. It is most spacious with a comfortable lounge and private bathroom. We also offer Sarah's room either as a twin or a double with en-suite facilities. Prices from £35 pppn.
In recent years The Coleridge Way has become one of the favourite 2-3 day walks in the country. We are situated at the start it so where better to start your walking than in his very footsteps!

A 15th Century thatched cottage lovingly and sympathetically restored and retaining many period features such as an inglenook fireplace, solid oak/slate floors and exposed beams. This gives it a comfortable, relaxed ambience, along with a few  welcome 21st century features! 
We offer a haven from busy lifestyles and welcome walkers and other outdoor enthusiasts. We are a short drive from the sea where you can stroll along the beach or for the more energetic, fabulous open countryside is all around where walking opportunities are abundant. The Quantocks, Coleridge Way, Macmillan Way, Exmoor, Brendon Hills and the South West Coast Path all easily accessible. We are happy to pick you up or transfer your luggage if it assists you.

Home Farm is in wonderful area for walking with the Quantock hills on our doorstep and spectacular Exmoor just ½ hour away. Hartnells is a charming Grade 2 listed thatched cottage, ideally suited to walkers as you can access both seaside on the West Somerset Coastal Path and countryside walks from here. It is situated on the Macmillan Way West and is close to the wonderful scenery of the Coleridge Way, Brendan Hills, Exmoor and the Quantock Hills that can be accessed from the back garden! 
Sue offers a pick up and drop service to save you carrying your pack each day, delicious home baked lunch packages and flask refills for a small extra charge, as well as providing drying facilities and an outdoor sink for muddy boots!
Well behaved dogs are accepted in our downstairs suite which has access to the garden and fields beyond. There is a guest lounge to relax with your group to discuss the next day's route. There are 4 pubs and a restaurant within a 2 minute walk for your evening meal.
Your overnight stay at Hartnells is guaranteed to give you a comfortable night's rest and wonderful breakfast with home made bread to set you on your way. Originally built as a coaching inn during the 16^thC, the Rose and Crown has been offering hospitality to both travellers and locals for over 400 years – a tradition we are proud to continue. We are located at the foot of the beautiful Quantock Hills at the start of the Coleridge Way in the centre of Nether Stowey, a haven for walkers and cyclists wishing to explore the surrounding hills. It is a family run pub, and very much the social centre of the village where locals, visitors and families can enjoy a quiet drink or meal, in good company.
Our guest bedrooms have undergone extensive refurbishment and all  now have en-suite bathrooms and showers. We offer a mix of dining styles, from casual bar meals for walkers and cyclists, served in the bar or garden, to intimate dinners in the restaurant. We also have a take-away menu which is available every day. Food is freshly cooked to order and, where possible, salad, vegetables and fruit are grown in our own garden. Meat and fish are sourced from local suppliers.
There is a fabulous beer garden with a safe play area for children.

A charming old listed family home, dating back in parts to the Tudor period, set in a picturesque West Somerset village in an area of outstanding beauty between the Quantock and Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. We offer a friendly, informal atmosphere and a high standard of accommodation. All rooms are en-suite and there is a comfortable drawing room with local information and a licensed bar.
A full English breakfast, cooked in the Aga using fresh local produce wherever possible, is served in the dining room overlooking the delightful cottage garden. Evening meals and Sunday lunches are served by prior arrangement. During the summer, morning coffees, cream teas and light lunches are served in the garden and on the veranda.
