The Old School House

If you are looking for a 3-bedroomed self catering cottage with character in the heart of the Lake District National Park take a look at The Old School House. Just 5 minutes from Keswick, the village of Threlkeld is situated at the foot of Blencathra mountain and a picturesque base popular with fell walkers. Once the village school, it offers deceptively spacious accommodation and is decorated and equipped to a high standard.

Woolstore Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the town and dates back to the 18thC, retaining much of its original character but completely refurbished throughout and very comprehensively equipped. It sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and is available from £295 per week
Holly Cottage will accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms (master with kingsize four-poster bed) and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the town centre. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. There are secure storage facilities for bikes/gear.
The very cosy 18thC Osprey Cottage is peacefully located a 20 minute level walk from the town and has all modern facilities as well as a woodburning stove. Beamed accommodation for up to 4 people which is exceptionally well equipped, plus secure storage.
Each cottage has a Visit Britain 4 star rating and all year round availability. Local walks a plenty ranging from a gentle stroll to the Derwentwater Marinas to major hiking trips to the summits of Skiddaw and Blencathra. All inclusive prices from £270 per week.  In the lovely ancient town of Sedbergh, betwixt Hawes and Windermere, this linked accommodation provides a luxurious base for up to 16 people (or more) in a sympathetically converted Victorian grain warehouse.
The House is unique with loads of character. The whole of the ground floor is open plan with reception, lounge and reading area/bedroom 4. On the first floor are located a large and fully equipped dining kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one with en-suite), further bathroom and shower room. The most unusual feature is the space – there is a full 20 square metres, enabling all the occupants to be able to socialize together in comfort.
 The Flat occupies the lower ground floor and would suit a couple/small family. It has one large bedroom, living room, compact but well equipped kitchen and shower room.
Within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, shops and other amenities. You only need walk 100 metres up the road, however, and you are at the foot of the Howgill Fells, leading to much good walking country and the famous Cautley Spout waterfall.

Long Garth & The Granary are holiday cottages situated on a working farm on the Ulpha fells, with fabulous views across Duddon valley.
Have you ever dreamed of getting away from your hectic lifestyle to a place which has stunning views and the home from home comfort you demand?
