A small family run farm situated in the beautiful Aville Valley between the historic village of Dunster and the traditional Exmoor village of Timberscombe - a perfect base for your stay on Exmoor with the wild moorland and valleys only a short drive away. The farm itself is river fronted and Exmoor's famous red deer are regular visitors. You are free to roam and meet Moira the pig, Flora and Marge the Goats or the other animal friends that make up the character of Burnells Gardens! 
Enjoy farmhouse-style bed and breakfast accommodation in tastefully appointed double bedrooms. Our water is from our own natural spring and the food is all freshly cooked on the farm's Aga. Where possible local produce is used including our own farm-produced eggs. Use of a chiminea or gas bbq for barbecues either in the garden or by the river.

A charming old listed family home, dating back in parts to the Tudor period, set in a picturesque West Somerset village in an area of outstanding beauty between the Quantock and Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. We offer a friendly, informal atmosphere and a high standard of accommodation. All rooms are en-suite and there is a comfortable drawing room with local information and a licensed bar.
A full English breakfast, cooked in the Aga using fresh local produce wherever possible, is served in the dining room overlooking the delightful cottage garden. Evening meals and Sunday lunches are served by prior arrangement. During the summer, morning coffees, cream teas and light lunches are served in the garden and on the veranda.

Hartnells is a charming Grade 2 listed thatched cottage, ideally suited to walkers as you can access both seaside on the West Somerset Coastal Path and countryside walks from here. It is situated on the Macmillan Way West and is close to the wonderful scenery of the Coleridge Way, Brendan Hills, Exmoor and the Quantock Hills that can be accessed from the back garden! 
Sue offers a pick up and drop service to save you carrying your pack each day, delicious home baked lunch packages and flask refills for a small extra charge, as well as providing drying facilities and an outdoor sink for muddy boots!
Well behaved dogs are accepted in our downstairs suite which has access to the garden and fields beyond. There is a guest lounge to relax with your group to discuss the next day's route. There are 4 pubs and a restaurant within a 2 minute walk for your evening meal.
