Great for Groups

Superbly located in the heart of the National Park, with long-distance views from the rear towards Malham Cove, these 3 properties form part of a barn conversion dating back to the 1800's. Exposed stonework, beams and arches are a feature in their well furnished interiors. They are set on the owners’ working farm upon which they run a farm shop with a selection of local produce and crafts. With their own separate garden areas the cottages can be booked together to accommodate larger groups wishing to holiday together, yet retain their independence.
Surrounded by rolling countryside criss-crossed with the limestone walls for which this region is renowned, each forms an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts, with stunning walks from the doorstep leading to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn and Janet’s Foss. Plenty of good restaurants and country pubs serving real ales and fine local fayre in the vicinity. Shop 10 yards.
Accommodation varies slightly between the properties but generally includes spacious open-plan living room with electric ‘log-effect’ wood burner and kitchen/dining area. 2/3 bedrooms, one double with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room with toilet, and one twin. Bathroom with spa bath, separate shower and toilet. Walled courtyard garden with furniture. Wheelchair access in one cottage.

          Highfield House

Visit website

Dating back to the 1800s, this substantial terraced, stone-built house has had a colourful history starting life as a barn, before becoming a blacksmiths, confectioners shop and now a holiday home. It has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by the owners who have retained its original charm with a touch of urban chic. Given its central village location, Highfield House is unusually spacious, with 2 reception rooms, huge bathroom, contemporary balcony leading to a sunny patio garden (NB 12 steps to access) with views of the Yorkshire Dales. Garden furniture and a barbecue is provided. The property also benefits from off road parking for 2 cars, again quite rare for a village centre property.
Beautifully decorated and well appointed, it provides comfortable accommodation in the heart of Ingleton, one of North Yorkshire’s most popular villages and is the ideal base from which to explore the North Yorkshire National Park. The village has lots of shops, pubs and cafes, as well as reputedly the best fish and chips in Yorkshire! A perfect location for walkers and the 3 peaks.
Ground floor: Living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one (5ft four poster) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Open fire in living room (fuel included). Gas central heating,  Satellite TV with comprehensive entertainment package. Cycle store.
