Its quiet location in the heart of a pretty English village less than 50 yards from the many galleries, antique shops and restaurants makes Cowley House the ideal location for your stay in Broadway and the perfect base from which to tour the Cotswolds. Being less than 200 yards from the Cotswold Way also makes us a perfect location for ramblers and walkers.

You can enjoy the "olde world charm" of original stone floors and Cotswold stone features, oak and elm beams, an Elizabethan 4-poster bed as well as delightful gardens in which to relax. Our hearty Cotswold breakfasts are prepared from fresh, local ingredients and served in the elegant dining room. Vegetarian and special diets can be catered for. Five of the 6 double bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all are tastefully furnished to a high standard.

Welcome to The Tudor Arms - a large family-operated Free House dating from the 18thC beside the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal just ½ mile from the world famous Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

The bed and breakfast accommodation is contained within the modern, purpose-built, Tudor Arms Lodge adjacent to the pub and offers 12 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. The rooms have all been recently refurbished to a very high standard and there is a choice of twin/double rooms, some with an additional sofa bed to sleep one extra person and some with king size beds. There is also a family room sleeping 4 plus a sofa bed.

Meals are served throughout the day at the Tudor Arms and there is the chance to relax in one of the bars or have a game of pool in the Games Room. We have six different dining areas to choose from, ranging from the cosy Barn with its exposed beams and old oak settles to the light and airy Front Lounge, which is popular with families. Our varied and interesting bar menu includes a number of homemade dishes, while our restaurant menu features a regularly changing specials board.

Although the Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust is a must for visitors we are just a short hop from the glorious walking country of the Cotswolds and the Cotswold Way itself.
