A 200 years old converted Smithy and a
friendly, welcoming AA Four Star B&B situated just above the beautiful
Golitha Falls on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor. Our local village of
St.Cleer is very close to Siblyback Lake and the Cornish Mining World
Heritage Site around Minions. Birds and wildlife abound on and around the
moor and there is excellent walking locally on the moor or the Copper Trail
and on the coast. There are also riding and fishing facilities locally. The
area is rich in 19thC industrial archaeology including extensive mining
remains up on the moor, the Wheal Victoria Copper Mine down by Golitha Falls and remains of the
fascinating Liskeard and Caradon Railway. |
