Best Walks in Scotland

The Three Sisters in Glencoe

Over the coming months we will bring you a database of some of the Best Walks in Scotland. Scotland is famous for its fantastic mountains, and of course for its Munros (mountains over 3,000 feet/914 m), however it has some superb low level walking as well. From walks to the highest point in the UK, The summit of Ben Nevis, to low level walks around some of Scotland's tranquil lochs, such as Loch Lomond and Loch Ness, we will list some of the best walks Scotland has to offer.

The Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. With its contrast of both glorious coastline and dramatic mountain scenery there really is something to suit all walkers on the island. Low level walks along magnificent glens including Glen Sligachan, to intimidating multi day scrambles along the Cuillin Ridge, Skye simply has is all.

Glen Sligachan Glen Sligachan
Starting in the tiny coastal hamlet of Elgol, this fabulous linear route takes you first to Camasunary Bay, with dramatic views of The Cuillins all the way. From here you will continue to pass through Glen Sligachan and finish at one of the best pubs in the UK!
